Poorveegam Herbology Research & Training Centre
Educational Class
Explore the science of herbs with our syllabus-oriented educational programs for students of higher secondary, Siddha, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Unani, Botany, Pharmacology, and Modern Medicine. We also conduct CME programs for AYUSH and Modern Medicine practitioners, enhancing their knowledge and skills in medicinal botany.
Nursery
Our exclusive nursery features 126 medicinal plants, including many rare and endangered species. Several higher valued plants described in Siddha and Ayurveda literature are available for sale. If inspired by any plants from our herbology garden other than the nursery species, we offer multiplication and supply on a pre-order basis.

Raw Drugs
Raw drugs form the cornerstone of pharmacognosy and traditional medicine. At Poorveegam, we cultivate and supply a wide range of pesticide-free raw medicinal ingredients, supporting over 90% of Siddha and 80% of Ayurveda formulations. Our raw drugs are meticulously grown and processed to meet the needs of researchers and drug preparation professionals, ensuring the purity and quality at every step.
Herbarium Preparation
At Poorveegam, we cultivate a wide variety of plants essential to medicinal botany, pharmacognosy, and Materia Medica syllabus. We provide fresh or processed specimens tailored to the specific requirements of students for herbarium and raw drugs preparation, ensuring access to authentic and high-quality resources.
