Over the years, it blossomed into a research trust that conducts herbal research tours to explore rare endangered and threatened species across biodiversity hotspots and wild zones and publishes the Poorveegam Maruthuva Nool Kalanjium books. Today, Poorveegam stands as a hub of herbology, with more than 1500 medicinal plant species, celebrating traditional herbal wisdom!

Herbology research and training centre is a home to 1530 species of medicinal plants used in AYUSH systems of Indian medicine, which serves as a resource and learning centre for Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Botany, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy students, researchers and professionals.
